2009 Hyundai Genesis Coupe

Though not to be released until sometime Spring 2009, the Hyundai Genesis Coupe has created quite a stir amongst the younger auto enthusiast generation. This rear-wheel drive car will not be replacing the company’s flagship front-wheel drive sports car the Tiburon as it has a successor of it’s own lined up.
The Genesis Coupe has been designed to be the most affordable sports car in it’s class – going head to head with rivals such as the Ford Mustang and BMW M3. Two engine choices are said to be available upon production – a turbocharged four cylinder engine and a 300 – 320 horsepower from a 3.8L V6.
What can we expect from this “affordable” sports car? Well considering the Tiburon has done quite well with it’s excellent handling and established motor sports career in Touring Cars and Rally series , this car shouldn’t be a disappointment. Although I always do question the reliability and quality Hyundai puts out I think this car will be a huge hit.
